From our Director

Leona Irving, LPN
It is with great pleasure and humility that I am able to serve the women and young ladies in our community.
As a leader, I am dedicated to laboring and assisting those in need, as they transition into various stages of life. As a woman, I am committed to teach and offer experiential wisdom of what is possible when you commit to a plan that brings success through change and transition. Whether it be transition from homelessness, domestic violence or the transition into adulthood, the mission does not change... We are called to be lights in dark places and bring hope to those who experience hopelessness. Women of Virtue are here to serve. We WILL serve.
Leona Irving, LPN
Founder and Director of WOMEN OF VIRTUE
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
Women of Virtue is committed to encouraging, uplifting and supporting women who are suffering through domestic violence, addiction and mental health. Our core mission is to provide help and healing through emotional and transitional support, by assisting with self care and basic needs items to lessen the pressure that can come from transitioning into a new way of living. Women of Virtue works with business leaders, community and social entities to provide further assistance related to temporary and permanent placement and aiding in creating a new normal for self-sufficiency. In doing so, they are able to have a safe space to strengthen their resolve, in order to live a purpose-driven life.

Our Vision
Our ultimate vision is to build MY SISTER'S HEART, transitional housing with in-house counselors and social educators to bring those who need our services to a place of stability and growth.
